    Flying Safari Queen Elizabeth Itinerary:

    Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

    Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be personally met by our company representative, and then transferred to Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel for your overnight stay and dinner.

    Day 2: Fly to Kasese Airstrip Queen Elizabeth

    After breakfast, be ready for a morning airport drop to catch up with your scheduled flight to Kasese airstrip that leaves at 0745 arriving at 1005. On arrival in Kasese, you will be transferred to Kyambura Gorge with your lunch at the nearby camp.

    In the afternoon, you will get ready for a guided primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge with birding through the gorge as you will be watching a number of beautiful birds. After the primate walk, drive to Mweya Safari Lodge for your overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: B, L & D.

    Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Part of Flying Safari Queen Elizabeth

    Begin your day with a cup of coffee, and then an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s Mile, which makes visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, kobs, and a variety of bird species.

    After lunch, an evening two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is a worthwhile opportunity to see hippos, buffaloes, kobs, elephants, and warthogs among others. This trip also gives visitors a chance to see spectacular bird species.

    Day 4: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi

    Begin your day with a cup of coffee, and then an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s Mile, which makes visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, kobs, and a variety of bird species. Thereafter, you will drive through the Ishasha sector, taking you through the unique western rift valley escarpment. If time allows, you will take on a mini-game drive through Ishasha in search of tree-climbing lions. You will then get lunch at the Savannah Resort hotel before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

    Day 5: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking – Part of Flying Safari Queen Elizabeth

    Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) staff. Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.

    Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours, but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on relaxation and leisure at your lodge.

    Day 6: Second Gorilla Trekking

    After breakfast, you will go for the second gorilla tracking, but to another gorilla family, returning in the afternoon for relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge.

    Day 7: Batwa Cultural Experience

    Today is dedicated to a Batwa cultural experience where the Batwa demonstrate their hunting techniques, gather honey, point out medicinal plants and demonstrate how to make bamboo cups. Women of the community shall perform sorrowful songs which echo and leave guests with a moving sense of the richness of this fading culture.

    Day 8: Fly Back to Entebbe

    After breakfast, be ready for a morning transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your morning flight that leaves at 0925 arriving in Entebbe at 1125. You can opt for the afternoon flight departing at 1405 and arriving in Entebbe at 1555, for your onward flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: breakfast.
