    Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp is only 5 kilometers from the popular Kobs circuit Trail- one of the unmissable game viewing trails in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is approximately 39 kilometers from Kasese town, while Kasese Airstrip is about 45 kilometers away.

    Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp offers 5 beautiful cottages constructed from wood and incredibly thatched. Each of the rooms is fully equipped with a personal safe, and a fireplace to offer warmth during cold evenings in the rainy seasons. Ironing facilities, large beds with clean and soft linens as well as hypo-allergenic pillows are also available. These rooms also have private bathrooms with a shower, clean towels, complimentary toiletries, and slippers.

    The double chalet features a king-sized bed and a private bathroom, with a shower, hair dryer, en-suite toilet, bath, complimentary toiletries, shampoo, clean towels, and shower cap. There is a complimentary bottled water, a minibar, a private kitchenette with an oven, barbeque grills, a refrigerator, a stove, and dining area, a balcony, and a fireplace.

    Activities enjoyed by Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp visitors

    While staying at the camp, guests are offered the opportunity to undertake a wide range of activities that include;

    Game drives: Game viewing starts right from the comfort of your room since the camp overlooks Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, Uganda Kobs, Cape buffaloes, elephants, Defassa waterbucks, Topis, bushbucks, and others can be spotted. Given the location of this Camp, it is easy to connect to the Park for game drives.

    Boat cruises are undertaken on the Kazinga channel, whereby high concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles are sighted during the boat ride.

    Guided nature walks are possible within the camp premises or in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park to explore the unique ecosystem. You will sight as many animals as possible and lots of beautiful bird species.

    Community tours can also be undertaken by visitors and these are usually organized on request. The mostly-visited community is the Kasoga experience where different activities like community birding, canoeing, fishing, and walks are provided.

    Visitors to Queen Elizabeth National Park always complement their visit with a gorilla trekking safari in the nearby Bwindi Forest National Park or a chimpanzee trekking expedition in Kibale National Park. Others could opt for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to Murchison Falls.
