    This luxurious lodge has completely renovated public areas and verdant gardens, after being converted from a coffee store, to bring to light the jaw-dropping space that every luxury lover will adore.

    The Bandas are of afro-chic theme with a touch of African style in form of local artifacts that re-imagined the Bandas into their new face. If you have plans of tracking the lost chimpanzees in the underground forest of Kyambura Gorge, then this lodge is the perfect place to lay your head and relax after an eventful day in this jungle.

    However, the lodge is not just for travelers visiting Kyambura Gorge but also those interested in experiencing one of Uganda’s most beautiful national parks via game drives or its waterway of Kazinga channel. It is interesting to know that Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to over 95 mammal species and about 600 bird species, hence making it the highest concentration in Uganda.

    Kyambura Gorge Lodge has a total of 8 Bandas, four of which are new deluxe Bandas, while the rest are standard Bandas. Each of the Bandas provides an exceptional view across the sweeping savannah plains or the Kyambura Gorge.

    These Bandas are in single, double, or twin-room configurations with a private bathroom, featuring a bathrobe, slippers, and toiletries. There is a comfortable bed, and a spacious sitting area for unwinding, among others.

    Staying at the lodge offers you access to the spa, where you can relax while getting treated to complimentary 30-minute spa treatments and massages. The luxurious swimming pool is where you can relax after an eventful day of chimpanzee trekking or game drives.

    The lodge is one of the few places where personal butler service is provided for all guests. Delicious meals are enjoyed from the restaurant while alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served at the bar area, free of exchange, with the exception of premium drinks.     Activities Around the Lodge

    Visitors staying at Kyambura Gorge Lodge can enjoy a wide range of activities conservation and community under the recently developed ‘Kyambura Gorge Ecotourism Project’. These activities include the Kyambura wetland walk with opportunities for sighting lots of bird species, the Kyambura Gorge buffer walk, and the tree climbing project.

    Chimpanzee tracking is the main activity enjoyed by guests of Kyambura Gorge Lodge. This activity introduces visitors to the community of lost chimps to learn about their daily routines. The beauty of this activity is that several primate species can also be sighted during the chimpanzee trek.

    Nature walks are also possible around the lodge. These have been made possible by the newly created trails that allow guests to experience the outstanding landscapes of the gorge as well as Queen Elizabeth National Park as a whole.

    Even while staying at the lodge, guests can enjoy game drives through Queen Elizabeth National Park. While on this drive you will see lions, leopards, elephants, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, topis, Defassa waterbucks, bushbucks, duikers, hippos, and many others.

    Boat cruises along the Kazinga channel are also possible for guests and these make it possible to see one of the highest concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
